WOW! i am just astounded by all the responses to my Warrior Princess Zelda design! and i’m so excited that my amazing friends Dana and Michelle liked her enough to draw her!

Inspired by Anita Sarkeesian’s Video Game Tropes vs Women, I wanted to pitch a Zelda game where Zelda herself was the hero, rescuing a Prince Link.
Clockwork Empire is set 2,000 years after Twilight Princess, and is not a reboot, but simply another iteration in the Zelda franchise. It just so happens that in this case, Zelda is the protagonist. I’m a very big Zelda fan, and worked hard to draw from key elements in the continuity and mythos.
This concept work is meant to show that Zelda as a game protagonist can be both compelling and true to the franchise, while bringing new and dynamic game elements that go farther than being a simple gender swap.

NO! I don’t like it ITS FUCKING STUPID. ahem.. let me explain why this is wrong in every possible level.
Let’s start off with the fact that Zelda cannot wield the master sword, it’s sword is for LINK to use, How about giving her an original sword?
secondly did we watch the same video from Anita? Because her videos are are full of crap, no listen, she didn’t do her research properly she makes arguments that women are weak in video games apparently people ignore the fact that Zelda is pretty strong in the games, She was Shriek and was able to fight. Not only that Zelda is always assisting link and helping him. Do people like Anita expect Zelda to face off against Ganon by herself? Do you have any idea how strong Ganon is? Even link needs the help of Zelda to defeat him in many of the Legend of Zelda games.
This is all Bullcrap and this shouldn’t even exist you’re stripping off zelda from ALL OF HER feminine qualities and basically turning her into a Man when she does exactly the same things a man would do. WHERE IS THE GOD DAMN ORIGINALITY!? Jesus it’s like people like to Ignore all the qualities that zelda has and only focus on what they think makes her weak. Do your research better next time, you’re not helping the cause, you’re part of the problem!
